Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Position Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Position: OBGYN Physician Location: MO Start Date: ASAP Length/Need: 1 physician needed, until December or more Travel & Lodging will be covered or reimbursed Medical Malpractice will be covered Schedule: * Clinic only * Avg call 24 hr. Details: * Practice Setting- Inpatient * Patients per shift: 9 (6 Day, 3 Night) * Beds in dept. 12 LDR + 3 Low intervention rooms (midwifery) * EMR is EPIC * Trauma Level 1 & 2 * 2500 deliveries per year Procedures & skills required: * Low risk pregnancy * FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE * OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation * Routine delivery, Vagina, Low forceps * Decision-making for c-section * Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions * Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations * Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. * Surgical gynecology - Open * Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation * Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's Requirements: * Board Eligible or Certified * Active MO license * ACLS, ATLS, BLS * Clean Malpractice
