Hematology/Oncology Physician Location Maryland & Pennsylvania Summary Specialty: Hematology/Oncology Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO) # Providers Needed: 1 # Shifts/Month: 15 Coverage needs details: 2/6/23 - 2/10/23 to cover for vacations for two physicians additional coverage dates will be needed Reason for Need: Providers on Vacation Requirements Active Maryland License Must have/be Willing to Obtain Maryland CDS (Controlled and Dangerous Substance) DEA Required: Will accept candidates needing to apply for a state DEA or transfer a DEA from another state Board Status: Board Certified, Board Eligible Minimum Years Experience (if applicable): 1-3 Shift/Schedule Information Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p Clinic Mon-Thur 4:30p-8a night call Job Information Typical day: Provider will work independently. Most of the time is spent in the clinic seeing on treatment patients, new consults and long term follow ups. Additionally 2-3 inpatient visits a day. There are two other physicians and an APP who work in the same clinic but they will have their own patient schedules. The physician will have a dedicated exam nurse most of the day. Clinic is well supported by nursing and administrative staff. No admissions but expected to be available after hours about any clinical care questions for admitted patients or emergencies. Very low call volume.
