About the Role

The Company is in search of a highly motivated Vice President for Trade Finance Solutions within its Global Transaction Banking division. In this pivotal role, you will develop and oversee innovative, client-focused trade finance solutions aimed at minimizing payment risks and enhancing working capital. As a trusted advisor, you will engage with diverse internal and external partners, including the origination team, to ensure the strategic needs of the business are met.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing comprehensive trade finance products that cater to client needs.
• Exhibiting proficiency in traditional trade finance products and staying current with market trends.
• Building and maintaining robust client relationships through exemplary service and support.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 7 years of direct trade finance experience with a major financial institution, showcasing a strong background in credit origination and facility structuring. Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills are a must, along with the ability to lead and manage complex relationships. A proactive attitude, team-oriented approach, and the readiness to travel within North America are essential. An undergraduate degree is mandatory, with an MBA and/or CFA considered an advantage.
