Position Overview
The Franciscan Urology Associates team in Tacoma is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0FTE) Urology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy practice on the campus of St. Joseph Medical Center. SJMC is a 375 bed, Level II Trauma center located in Tacoma. Our group consists of 2 Urologists and 2 APPs and provides a variety of Urological services. Work duties will include clinic, hospital rounds, and assisting in the operating room. Typical case mix includes robotics, reconstruction and open cases. There is no evening call and rounding duties are shared equally with other APP providers. Our team is very collaborative and cohesive. Prior surgical experience is a plus, however, we are willing to mentor someone who is motivated to learn.

Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited PA or NP program
- NCCPA, AANP or ANCC certification
- Washington State medical license required at time of employment
- DEA, NPI and prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Health Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
Pay Range
$60.22 - $75.90/hour
