The Opportunity:
Animal Care Center of Polaris in northern Columbus seeks a Managing Veterinarian to join our fun, hardworking, compassionate team as we continue to grow! Our practice stresses comprehensive and compassionate medicine and surgery in a gorgeous 16,000 sq ft facility. We are a great learning environment to expand your education past graduation. This knowledgeable and passionate team offers a great environment for growth and a structured mentorship program ideal for post-graduate learning. Our hospital specializes in compassionate, progressive small animal medicine. We work heavily with local rescues such as Stop the Suffering and RescuedOHIO. It is important we give back to the community and assist in providing medical services for animals in need.
As the Medical Director at Animal Care Center of Polaris, you'll keep doing what you love - practicing veterinary medicine and seeing the furry faces that make your day. But you'll also provide vital medical leadership, oversee the veterinary team, ensure we follow all the rules, and cultivate an environment where exceptional pet care thrives. You'll develop medical protocols, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with the practice manager on finances, budgeting, and operational optimization.
