Leidos Dynetics Defense Systems is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer for its Hypersonics line of business. The selected candidate will support the Common Hypersonic Glide Body program (C-HGB).
Primary Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work along a group of test engineers (electrical/mechanical) and test technicians, performing acceptance and qualification testing of flight hardware. The selected candidate will also handle all tasks assigned by the lead engineer and may aid in writing reports and updating records. The candidate will be part of a diverse team whose work will include setting up test equipment, performing functional testing of avionics components, setting up dynamic/climatic test environments, and subsystem AI&T. Work will be conducted a laboratory environment.

Pay Range: Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00

Basic Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with at least 2 or more years of relevant experience.
- Candidate must demonstrate relevant skills in one or more focus areas, have good interpersonal skills, and have the desire to work in a highly focused technical team.
- Candidate must have experience in environmental testing including thermal, vacuum, shock and vibration in accordance with MIL-STD-810.
- Candidate must be able to work independently, or as part of a team, in a dedicated workforce.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and must possess and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with functional testing of electrical assemblies.
- Have familiarity with working with electrical schematics and cable/wiring diagrams.
- Have advanced experience reading mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Organizational skills to document test procedures, test reports and support configuration management of the test equipment.
