This position, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), will be responsible for leading the Dynasty Human Resources function. As our HR Manager, you will lead and direct the routine functions of the HR department as you plan, coordinate and direct administrative functions of our growing & dynamic company. You will oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff; consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between Dynasty's leaders and our employees.
This role carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, payroll, organizational development, and employment. The role requires an individual with previous experience in Human Resources Management both operationally and as a people leader. Experience in a developing office where one is responsible for all functions will be especially important. Dynasty is a fast-paced environment and a high growth company, and this person will be responsible for the roadmap of HR.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's Human Resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provides support and guidance to HR team members, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Manages the payroll and compensation process.
- Negotiate with benefit vendors to remain competitive in industry.
- Administer the 401(k) program
- Manage the relationship with benefit providers. Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Dynasty has employees in multiple locations; knowledge and experience in multi-state jurisdiction is necessary.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
- Manages the HR Team Members. Provide regular feedback for growth and development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Successful Candidates will have the following:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent experience
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions - in the financial services industry a plus but not required
- Expert knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Expert knowledge of state, federal laws and regulations. Administration of FMLA, ADA and other leave policies required.
- Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
- Experience managing and negotiating vendor relationships
- Office management experience
- HRIS, ATS systems. Paylocity experience preferred but not necessary.
