Sales Operations Manager

Wiss is seeking a Sales Operations Manager who can play a key role in supporting our sales team and engaging with prospects. This individual will be responsible for connecting the dots between our services, sales strategies, and marketing initiatives to drive pipeline growth and improve overall sales efficiency. This role is essential in managing the leads pipeline process, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams, developing proposals, and providing insights into pricing and market trends. The Sales Operations Manager will play a critical role in managing CRM and delivering key performance updates to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data within CRM system (HubSpot) and nd eliminate other redundant data repositories .
    • Ensure timely and efficient entry of leads and prospects, tracking their progress through the sales funnel.
    • Build client profiles to ensure historical data is saved.
  2. Prospect Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for prospects, providing them with information on our services, answering questions, and identifying opportunities to offer services and solutions.
  3. Lead Pipeline Management:
    • Oversee and manage the lead pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate entry into our system, and continuous monitoring of client acquisition and conversion rates.
    • Partner with practice area leaders to vet leads, ensuring alignment with the firm's goals and priorities.
  4. Proposal Development & Execution:
    • Lead the development, management, and execution of proposals tailored to client needs and new business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proposal alignment with client expectations and service offerings.
  5. Account Coordination:
    • Serve as the central point of coordination between internal teams (tax, advisory, assurance, wealth management), managing client tracking spreadsheets and action items.
    • Take comprehensive notes in revenue meetings and send timely follow-up communications to ensure service continuity.
  6. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
    • Identify areas for client education and marketing campaigns and share with marketing director.
  7. Market Intelligence and Pricing Analysis:
    • Gather and analyze market data to identify competitive pricing trends, client needs, and industry shifts.
    • Provide insights on pricing decisions, including factors like business size, complexity, and market conditions.
    • Track competitor intelligence, including information on competing bids, rates, and why clients choose Wiss.
  8. Reporting & Leadership Updates:
    • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on lead and pipeline data, including performance metrics, conversion rates, and market insights.
    • Assess demand for specific services, recommend pricing adjustments, and develop strategies to convert leads into clients.
  9. CRM Management (HubSpot):
    • Support implementation of HubSpot Sales CRM, develop process, and best practice documentation
    • Manage HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate data entry, lead tracking, and reporting.
    • Train staff on CRM best practices and optimize usage for lead management and client engagement.
  10. Process Optimization:
    • Continuously review and improve sales processes, client onboarding, and workflow efficiencies across departments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Management, Business Development, or similar role.
  • Proven experience in proposal development and execution, lead management, and CRM tools (HubSpot experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to gather and interpret market data to inform decisions.
  • Strong communicator and a natural connector who can bridge the gap between sales, marketing, and internal teams.
  • Capable of thinking strategically and finding creative solutions to meet operational needs.
  • Experience working in the accounting or financial services indu stry and/or knowledge of accounting, tax, or financial services is a plus.
