Job Description
We have 3 positions available for work on a large scale and complex implementation and upgrade of ORACLE UTILITIES Customer Care & Billing (CCB) and Meter Data Management (MDM).
We are seeking 3 TEST ANALYSTS to plan, execute, and deliver testing activities for each stream of the implementation, namely Meter to Cash (M2C), Quote to Cash (Q2C) and Data for Spatial Cloud Interface (DSCI).
The work will be located in Edmonton AB - and you must be willing to work on-site minimum 3-4 days per week. If you do not live in Edmonton, travel expenses will be covered, however, you must be willing to commit to the weekly travel.
We are able to consider either subcontractors OR individuals interested in permanent employment with Sia Partners.
If you are interested in the employee option, you must ALREADY BE LEGALLY ELIGIBLE to work in Canada, holding either Permanent Residency or full Citizenship status. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship or relocation expenses at this time.

Job Description

We are seeking 3 TEST ANALYSTS to plan, execute, and deliver testing activities for each stream of the implementation, namely Meter to Cash (M2C), Quote to Cash (Q2C) and Data for Spatial Cloud Interface (DSCI).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reporting to the Test Lead, you will manage the testing activities for your designated stream, including any additional Test-Analyst resources (if there are any).
- Assist in creating Test Strategy, Test Scenarios and Test Execution Plans.
- Lead and manage the creation of test cases, test scripts/steps and test data.
- Lead the planning, creation, execution and management of the testing activities that are the clients' responsibilities (not the System Integrator's); this includes SIT, E2E and UAT; the SI owns Unit and System testing of CCS components.
- Create Test Completion Reports for the testing activities that are the clients' responsibilities (not the System Integrator's)
- Work with the application and technical architecture teams to plan the unit, systems integration, user acceptance, bill comparison, operational readiness and performance tests
- Determine all testing environment requirements and tools
- Review the development process to ensure development package tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing and migration of packages) is properly addressed
- Manage testers' work throughout test plan development and test execution to ensure that testing is on time and within budget
- Allocate test Representatives to application tests
- Ensure that the test plans are properly developed and executed for standard reports
- Ensure that all testing results are up-to-date, easily accessible and understandable
- Measure and monitor progress during each test to ensure that the application is tested and validated on time and within budget, and that it meets or exceeds documented requirements
- Ensure that the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing strategy
- Review test and validation results to ensure that they meet the entry and exit criteria
- Participate in quality management reviews to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards
- Utilize Jira to manage all testing components and requirements traceability
- Provide status to Project management
Qualifications
- You MUST HAVE at least 5 years experience in software testing - with at least 2 years experience working in at least ONE of the following:
Meter to Cash (M2C)
Data for Spatial Cloud Interface (DSCI)
Quote to Cash (Q2C)
- Experience with the the planning, creation, execution and management of testing activities - covering a variety of different test strategies (regression testing, smoke testing, both manual and automation, etc.)
- Experience with Jira is a MUST HAVE
- Certifications for ORACLE UTILITIES CC&B &/or CCS is definitely preferred
- ISTQB certification will be seen as an asset
- Strong communication: both verbal and written / documentation skills
- Proven ability to work within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
