The Ideal Candidate:
The Chicago Blackhawks is looking to add an experienced Account Manager, Corporate Partnerships to the team! Our Star Player will be someone with a proven track record of success in client service or account manager that is passionate about being our unwavering brand champion and has a keen eye for the minutia.
The Top Shelf:
Owns and manages execution of contractual elements on behalf of a list of pre-assigned partnership accounts. This person will be responsible for delivering all contractual obligations and providing superior customer service and strategic guidance throughout the year and manage partner renewals when contract terms expire and upsells during partner terms as a key member of the Blackhawks CP team and broader revenue team.

How You'll Contribute:
- Coordinate and implement contractual partnership assets within each agreement prior to and throughout each season, including but not limited to signage, partner activations and events, out of home placements, broadcast and radio spots, social/digital media campaigns, email, retail promotions, and VIP hospitality
- Lead communication efforts with client/client agency regarding team contractual elements, pivots, and bonus opportunities in a professional and consistent manner
- Collaborate with Chicago Blackhawks Marketing Team to determine strategy and execution for delivery of all contractual elements
- Understand and implement new partner initiatives via effective collaboration with internal departments (i.e., marketing, ticketing, retail, Foundation, etc.)
- Provide guidance to graphics team and client to update creative assets and ensure compliance with Chicago Blackhawks brand guidelines
- Learn and master Chicago Blackhawks partnership strategy, portfolio, rate card, and tiering system to contribute to team goals and objectives
- Be obsessed with the details, ensuring new and renewal partner contracts are clear, accurate, follow Chicago Blackhawks boundary conditions, and contain appropriate billing schedules
- Provide feedback and help develop new and creative ways to cater to our current partners in a first-class environment
- Identify opportunities to develop new assets, including pitching partner renewals and upsells
- Attend various on- and off-site events including games, trips, hospitality events, etc
- Participate in regular meetings with the Director, Corporate Partnerships Service & Retention to go over account activations and contractual assets
- At end of season, prepare recap decks for each assigned partner with available data, proof of performance photos, and description to measure relative to partner KPIs
- Provide support to partners by traveling to business offices, attending events, seminars, charity, etc
- Schedule partner engagement and meetings to foster best-in-class relationships
- Invite and host partners to games and other Blackhawks and United Center events
- Be a thought starter and bring new ideas to team meetings
Player Stats and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 7-10 years of client service or account management experience in a sports front office, marketing agency (preference given to experiential or activation agency) or entertainment industry required
- Solution oriented team player with a positive mindset
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Superior organization and time management skills
- Self-starter ready to own your own book of business
- Ability to create PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and work in Photoshop
- Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to address, adapt to, and overcome challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated aptitude for driving results
