The Top Shelf:
The Senior Staff Accountant for the Chicago Blackhawks will be responsible in completing bank reconciliations across several entities, maintaining accounts receivable, creation and maintenance of invoices, verifying and reconciling certain account balances, communications with customers and employees for payments and payment plans, assisting in journal entries and other accounting processes. The Senior Staff Accountant must maintain the highest level of integrity.
How You'll Contribute:Complete account reconciliations for all entities.Work with proper team members to make sure entries are ready for month end closeWork with department heads and customers to resolve any issues that may arise related to payments.Assist in the collection of past due balances.Perform and review journal entriesWork with auditors as requiredAssist the Finance department with any other needs or special projects.Player Stats and Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree in accounting or Finance.3-6 years' experience in accounting or finance. Prior experience in sports finance helpful.Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy of all reports and financials.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Experience in NetSuite and Microsoft Suite of products preferred.Strong written and communication skills.Work well in a team environment.Respond to employee and customer in a timely and professional mannerWillingness to work non-traditional hours in support of Company events as requested.Ability to address, adapt to, and overcome challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentDemonstrated aptitude for driving resultsHigh attention to detailDemonstrates Chicago Blackhawks core values of integrity, curiosity, empathy, collaboration, and originality
