Job Description

The Sr. Manager for HR Technology will be known as the People Operations Leader and will be responsible for establishing a HR service delivery team and overseeing and optimizing all HR operational activities. This role involves developing and executing HR operational strategies, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes, and delivering high-quality HR services to employees. The head of People Operations will ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of HR operations, and the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Salary Range: $134,900 - $158,700 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for establishing and optimizing an HR service delivery team that will provide HR operational support for all employees. This includes but is not limited to:

HR Operations Strategy and Design:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR Operations strategy, defining scope of services, SLAs, and transition timeline in alignment with broader HR and business function goals and objectives
  • Design and build HR processes and procedures to ensure effective and efficient HR service delivery

HR Operations Management:
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for all HR operational activities, including employee queries, employee data management, workforce administration, and compliance
  • Ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of HR processes and operational systems

Leadership and Stakeholder Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR Operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of HR Operations with overall HR and business strategies

Process Improvement and Innovation:
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the HR operations team, encouraging innovative solutions and best practices
  • Implement best practices in HR operations and stay current with industry trends and advancements
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of HR operations

Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Develop and maintain HR procedures to mitigate risk and ensure consistency in HR operational delivery

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in HR operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing HR operations in a dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR technology

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus
