Description

Aeris Technologies Inc, a subsidiary of Project Canary, PBC, designs, manufactures, and commercializes the next-generation of laser-based gas analyzers used in a variety of applications such as quantifying greenhouse gas emissions, atmospheric pollutants, and natural gas leaks. Project Canary is a climate technology company that offers an enterprise emissions data platform that helps companies identify, measure, understand, and act to reduce emissions across the energy value chain. Our mission is to "Measure It" - leveraging sophisticated software solutions to help companies improve and report on their emissions footprint.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Electrical Engineering Skills and Schematic Design: Take charge of developing and maintaining schematics for various electronic systems. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure design alignment with project objectives.
  2. Board Design: Demonstrate proficiency in OrCAD or similar PCB layout tools.
  3. Low Noise Precision ADC and DAC: Devise and execute circuits for low noise signal processing.
  4. Large Scale Production: Supervise the transition from prototype to mass production phase. Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective production processes.


Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics design and development.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and delivering functional circuits.
  • Expertise in low noise precision ADC and DAC design.
  • Experience in large-scale production and proficiency in manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency with LTspice or similar circuit modeling and simulations

Desirable
  • Knowledge of C/C++ coding and familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Previous involvement in projects related to Laser-based gas spectroscopy.
  • Xilinx/AMD Vivado & Vitis experience a plus.
  • Experience with FPGA and SoCs.
  • Competence in battery charger systems.
  • Experience with CE testing and similar certifications.
