Oncology - Radiation Physician

Adelphi is seeking Board Certified Radiation Oncologists to provide care to patients at a facility in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The physicians will work in coordination with hematology/oncology and surgical subspecialties to ensure that patients with malignancies receive comprehensive care including consultation, treatment planning, weekly patient treatment visits, and follow-up care in the outpatient and inpatient setting. Job Quick Facts: - Ref#: BD-512-01 - Profession: Physician - Specialty: Radiation Oncologist - Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico - Facility Type: Medical Center - Job Type: Contract - Coverage Type: Clinical + Call - Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7 am - 3:30 pm - Call Schedule: TBD - Start Date: ASAP - Rate: $250/hr Requirements: - MD/DO - Licensed in any State - BC in Radiation Oncology Responsibilities: - Provide patient simulation, radiation treatment plan and prescription. - Provide direct clinical and administrative oversight for mid-level practitioners, physics, dosimetry, radiation therapists and other clinical staff as assigned. - Work with the Chief, Radiation Oncology Service, and other disciplines to support, contribute to and implement policies, performance goals, strategic plans. - Responsible for implementing the goal of improving care for patients within the Medical Center. - Design and carry out treatment plans to meet specific treatment objectives. - Evaluate, monitor, and report on treatment results. - Provide services in an efficient, high-quality, cost effective manner. - Participate in shared on-call. - Perform other related duties as assigned.
