Resolution and Recovery Planning - Financial Forecasting C15 Director

Reporting to the Head of RRP Financial Forecasting, the Director is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. They are responsible for supporting the Head of RRP Financial Forecasting in developing of the balance sheet, income statements, and other financial data as well as the maintenance of forecasting capabilities for recovery and resolution scenario generation. They will work to not only support continuous improvement of the capability processes as they relate to financial forecasting processes which feed capital and liquidity estimates, but also provide subject matter and process leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter knowledge on expectations and requirements for financial forecasting capabilities in a recovery and resolution event.

  • Provide guidance for and direction to the team with which they work to ensure deliverable completion.

  • Develop, present, and implement proposals related to scope of work

  • Lead the development of balance sheet, income statement, and other financial data

  • Provide review and challenge on forecasting assumptions, projection results, and utilization of methodologies and frameworks to estimate financial resource needs

  • Ensure data quality checks and data reconciliation to promote alignment with firm and regulatory requirements

  • Lead maintenance of forecasting capabilities for recovery and resolution scenario generation

  • Support continuous improvement of capability processes

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related fields

  • Experience: 8-12 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, risk management, financial regulation, project management, or similar fields with a knowledge of liquidity management.

  • Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements in the capital markets domain.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality business requirements and functional specifications in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Exercised proven PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with financial modeling, data analytics, or financial forecasting tools is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex technology builds under multiple constraints.

  • Demonstrated ability to design test scripts and drive issue management from a data analytics and technology background.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence groups and individuals to address goals without direct managerial responsibilities.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Leadership qualities with a passion for talent development and team building.

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree and managerial experience

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
