The CSR/Dispatcher position entails 40% dispatching, which involves coordinating and assigning service requests to technicians; 40% customer service, which includes communicating with customers to provide information and resolve issues; and 20% general office assistance, which involves supporting service managers with tasks such as filing and sending proposals.

Basic Duties

  • Answering incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person
  • Providing information about plumbing services offered by the company
  • Scheduling appointments for plumbing services and dispatching plumbers to job sites
  • Communicating with customers to ensure their needs are being met and resolving any issues that arise
  • Recording customer information and details of service requests in the company's database
  • Issuing invoices and collecting payments for services rendered
  • Providing follow-up support and maintaining ongoing customer relationships
  • Receiving service requests from customers and creating work orders for plumbing technicians
  • Dispatching plumbers to job sites and ensuring they arrive on time
  • Coordinating with other dispatchers and technicians to manage workloads and ensure timely completion of jobs
  • Tracking the progress of service requests and updating customers on the status of their requests
  • Managing inventory levels of equipment and supplies needed for plumbing services
  • Maintaining accurate records of job assignments, work performed, and time spent on each job
  • Monitoring and responding to emergency service requests in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Customer service experience
  • Experience with Service Titan a plus!
