The CSR/Dispatcher position entails 40% dispatching, which involves coordinating and assigning service requests to technicians; 40% customer service, which includes communicating with customers to provide information and resolve issues; and 20% general office assistance, which involves supporting service managers with tasks such as filing and sending proposals.
Basic Duties
Answering incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person Providing information about plumbing services offered by the company Scheduling appointments for plumbing services and dispatching plumbers to job sites Communicating with customers to ensure their needs are being met and resolving any issues that arise Recording customer information and details of service requests in the company's database Issuing invoices and collecting payments for services rendered Providing follow-up support and maintaining ongoing customer relationships Receiving service requests from customers and creating work orders for plumbing technicians Dispatching plumbers to job sites and ensuring they arrive on time Coordinating with other dispatchers and technicians to manage workloads and ensure timely completion of jobs Tracking the progress of service requests and updating customers on the status of their requests Managing inventory levels of equipment and supplies needed for plumbing services Maintaining accurate records of job assignments, work performed, and time spent on each job Monitoring and responding to emergency service requests in a timely and efficient manner. Qualifications:
