Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client and staff.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to audit staff.
- Plan and supervise field engagements, including financial statement audits, reviews, and various consulting engagements.
- Research and provide technical guidance on complex accounting areas or new pronouncements.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, internal control standards and technology implementation relative to client assignments.
- Perform detail review on audits, reviews and other engagements, resolve issues encountered during these engagements.
- Develop and execute audit strategy from planning to reporting.
Requirements:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
- 4+ years of Public Accounting experience, including management of assurance engagements.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a manager role, managing, supervising and training staff.
- Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles; knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, Government Auditing Standards and Generally Accepted Governmental Accounting Standards.
- Experience in multiple audit and assurance areas including inventory, revenue, equity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technically proficient in broad based areas of accounting and audit.
- Highly motivated and self-driven, passionate about providing quality services.
Compensation:
$140,000 per year
