Dispatcher

We are seeking an organized and proactive Trucking Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The Trucking Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules and routes of our truck drivers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: *Schedule and dispatch drivers for pickup and delivery of freight. *Monitor driver logs and compliance with DOT regulations. *Coordinate with customers and drivers to resolve any issues or delays. *Maintain accurate records of driver assignments, routes, and schedules. *Provide real-time support and communication to drivers on the road. *Optimize routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. *Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless operations. Qualifications: *High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or transportation is a plus. *Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role. *Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. *Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. *Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. *Proficiency in dispatch and logistics software. *Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
