Business Development Executive

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for pipeline development on behalf of the company through outbound activities and strategy. This role will effectively qualify prospects and targets, enter them into our database, and schedule meetings for the NBD team. This role will take all appropriate and necessary action to ensure prospective clients regard the company in high esteem and rely upon us as their resource for event and experiential marketing solutions. Reporting to the Vice President, New Business Development, the Business Development Executive (BDE), has 1 -2 years of outboard sales experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cultivate relationships and develop a pipeline of opportunities.
- Maintain a high level of prospecting activities via email, phone work, and social selling.
- Travel to trade shows, events, and networking functions for business development purposes.
- Research and qualify prospects.
- Understand prospects' objectives, challenges, successes and competitive environment.
- Assist in the development of capabilities presentations and RFP responses.
- Continually expand knowledge of IXM capabilities and industry.
- Achieve/exceed Closed Opportunity Target.
- Responsible for accurate and up-to-date forecasting in CRM.
- Maintain a positive mindset, encourage teamwork, and act as an impeccable brand ambassador for Impact XM.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of 1 -2 years' experience in outbound sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry experience is a bonus whether it be in the event marketing and/or trade show industry.

- Exhibit the ability to multi-task, sell, and operate under severe time constraints and immovable deadlines. Good organization, detail and follow-up skills are required.
- A vehicle in good, working order is a requirement.
