Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that support the facility's goals, including workforce planning, talent management, and employee development.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent. Manage onboarding programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the facility.
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and manage conflict resolution. Promote a positive work environment and foster strong employee relations.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legal requirements.
- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems. Support managers in setting performance goals, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and oversee the development and implementation of training programs to enhance staff skills and career growth.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation structures and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and align with organizational goals.
- HR Administration: Manage employee records, and reporting. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits.
- Health and Safety: Promote and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Address any workplace safety concerns and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to HR staff. Foster a collaborative and efficient HR department.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) and added plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 1-3 years in a senior HR management role, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing environment.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day HR operations.
