We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead and oversee all HR functions for a high-volume facility with 1,500+ employees. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of managing HR operations in large, complex environments, preferably within the food production or agriculture industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives and foster a productive and engaged workforce.
- Employee Relations: Build and maintain positive employee relations through open communication, conflict resolution, and a strong understanding of labor laws and workplace dynamics.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development initiatives to ensure the facility is staffed with skilled and motivated employees.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as industry-specific regulations.
- HR Operations: Manage payroll, benefits administration, performance management, and workforce planning for a facility of 1,500+ employees.
- Safety and Wellness: Collaborate with safety teams to promote a safe and healthy workplace environment.
- Change Management: Lead HR-related projects, including organizational changes, new initiatives, and technology implementations, to support the company's evolving needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in HR leadership roles, with experience managing HR operations in a facility of 1,500+ employees.
- Industry Background: Experience in food production, agriculture, manufacturing, or a similar environment preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; proficiency in HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of labor laws, employee relations, and talent management strategies.
