Description

Job Purpose:

Our HR Director helps shape our company's future by developing and carrying out HR strategies that support our business goals. This includes talent management, change management, performance management, payroll, benefits, training and development and compensation. As a member of the Sr. Management team will work directly with our CEO to ensure that HR plans meet our overall strategy. It's DHI's goal to make this a great place to work and the HR director will be one of the key drivers in helping us achieve our eNPS goal of 35+.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

HR Leadership
  • Create HR plans that support our business goals
  • Work with the executive team on planning for future leadership needs
  • Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Design competitive, cost-effective compensation and benefits plans

Talent Management and Development:
  • Oversee hiring and onboarding processes
  • Develop and monitor HR strategies across the company
  • Foster a positive work environment and culture
  • Implement training programs to ensure managers and individual contributors can excel in a dynamic work environment
  • Manage the performance appraisal process

Employee Relations and Compliance:
  • Actively communicate the company's mission and employee-related updates across the entire organization
  • Create a team atmosphere that enables employees to work at their peak performance
  • Stay updated on industry trends and employment laws
  • Handle complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations
  • Ensure legal compliance in all HR practices

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Lead and develop the HR assistant
  • Oversee the annual HR budget, including services, employee recognition, and benefits administration
  • Manage vendor relationships, namely with our insurance broker, HR software, and other benefit-related companies

Organizational Development:
  • Use performance management to guide and give feedback to the team
  • Provide leadership and resources to managers
  • Lead initiatives to enhance our company culture, promoting employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion


Requirements

Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least five years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to serve as a resource to the executive team
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Strong business sense
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Spanish proficiency a plus
  • Experience with implementing an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
