DutiesAs a Supervisory Program Analyst, you will:Direct the management of the National Transit Database program and the Transit Asset Management Program.Direct the analysis of transit financial, operating, asset condition, safety, and other transit industry data.Perform a full range of first-level supervisory responsibilities to include planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, developing performance standards, and counseling/instructing employees on both work and administrative matters.Exercise mature judgement and professional expertise to ensure that all assigned programs operate as effectively and efficiently as possible.The ideal candidate has experience providing leadership and direction to a team; familiarity with data collection, data analysis and/or data management principles; and experience providing clear program guidance to a general audience.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentYou must be a U.S. citizen & meet specialized experience to qualifySubmit application and resume online by 11:59 PM EST on the closing dateRequired documents must be submitted by the closing date.Direct Hire Authority will be used to fill this positionCONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:SELECTIVE SERVICE: Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for the Selective Service.GOVERNMENT TRAVEL CARD: This position involves travel.  A government contractor-issued travel card will be issued and must be retained for official business only.PROBATIONARY PERIOD: Applicants may be required to successfully complete a one-year probationary period (unless already completed).SUPERVISORY PROBATIONARY PERIOD: New supervisors must complete a 1-year probationary period (unless already completed).BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION: You will be required to complete a background/security investigation and meet preliminary requirements prior to onboarding.TELEWORK ELIGIBILITY: This position may be eligible for occasional and/or regularly scheduled telework. The number of telework days approved will be determined by your immediate supervisor or manager following the agency’s telework policy and guidance.
