Summary

The applicant of this position will serve as the Chief of the Strategic Planning Division and functions as a primary advisor to the Director in the areas of assigned responsibilities. He or she has overall management responsibility for the including direction and coordination of strategic planning; performance measurement, analysis, and reporting; program evaluation; and, enterprise risk management for the FTA.

Duties

As a Supervisory Program Analyst, you will :

Direct and ensure overall quality and timeliness of the strategic planning, performance measurement and reporting, evaluation, and enterprise risk management activities of the Division. Promote cooperation and coordination in preparation and delivery of mandatory reports, special studies, briefings, presentations, strategic planning activities, and performance reporting. Perform a full range of first-level supervisory responsibilities to include planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, developing performance standards, and counseling/instructing employees on both work and administrative matters. Exercise mature judgement and professional expertise to ensure that all assigned programs operate as effectively and efficiently as possible. The ideal candidate

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.

To qualify for the Grade 15 , you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:

Experience providing leadership and direction to a team or task force activities. Experience managing major projects including formulation of requirements, resource identification, process execution, and after action review. Experience working with a data collection program from multiple organizations, including preparing the data collection materials, designing data validation, and developing data products for distribution.
