Join the Club!About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated, self-starter to help develop and execute one of our key channels of growth i.e. Direct Mail. You will lead and own the channel end-to-end for multiple product lines across the bank (lending and banking products). You will be a key driver of strategy and performance, collaborating with internal/external teams to ensure success against growth targets (acquisition and repeat business) while delivering a multi-channel experience. Using a data-driven, audience-first approach, this role will be highly analytical to target high quality prospects/members with precision. You will be responsible for leading Direct Mail day-to-day operations and can have the opportunity to partner with other marketing channels.What You'll DoDevelop a comprehensive Direct Mail channel strategy to drive new customer acquisition, repeat business and x-sell across LendingClub products (Personal Loans, Auto Refi, Purchase Finance, etc.)Oversee and manage large-scale direct mail channel with a multimillion dollar monthly budget Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, risk, finance, engineering, product, data & Analytics) to align on campaign goals and executionLeverage data-driven insights to improve targeting, audience segmentation, and campaign outcomes Work closely with credit bureaus to procure audience files, optimize lists, and develop predictive machine learning models Manage external agencies and vendors, ensuring on-time production, budget control, and quality output for all creative assets Lead creative strategy and ongoing optimization with internal and external creative teams/agencies. Lead campaign forecasting, including financial performance, cost, and revenue projections, while maintaining dashboards and KPIsEnsure all campaigns meet compliance, legal, and quality standardsAbout You10+ years of marketing experience, including a minimum of 5+ years in direct mail; bachelor’s degree in a related field of study; or equivalent work experience  You are customer obsessed and have experience with researching and identifying customer needs   Prior leadership in the design and execution of multi-channel (organic search/SEO, Affiliates, Direct Mail, Paid media, Referral Marketing, Social, etc.) growth-marketing campaigns to drive new customer acquisition and rapidly scaling user and revenue growth    You have a deep understanding of how financial services and lending in the US market works and the lifecycle of financial products. This includes understanding that this is a regulated industry and thus has Compliance and Legal considerations that necessitate additional creativity and due diligence compared to unregulated industries  Proven ability to leverage data science and analytics to continuously test, iterate and improve campaign performance   Hands-on experience with marketing infrastructure (delivering email and in-product messaging, A/B testing, deploying dynamic creative, facilitating triggered marketing), streamline processes, and improve growth marketing competency to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI   Strong organization and planning skills. Ability to maintain multiple projects without compromising results   Led cross-functional go to market planning, execution, and optimization for new product launches   Work LocationSan Francisco We are currently working a hybrid schedule and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Time Zone Requirements Primarily PTTravel Requirements Monthly/quarterly/as needed travel to San Francisco/Boston/Lehi/New York.If you need to travel for work, LendingClub will cover your travel related expenses. CompensationThe target base salary range for this position is 182,000-200,000. The position is also eligible to receive a bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings), equity, and benefits.
