Join the Club!About the RoleAt LendingClub, Product Marketers have end to end accountability for their products strategy and execution. We’re looking for a Product Marketing leader to lead marketing to drive Member Engagement and Long-term relationships with LendingClub leading to multi-product penetration and brand preference. They will leverage our suit of product offerings across Lending (Personal loans, Auto refi, Purchase Finance), Banking, DebtIQ (credit monitoring), Digital App, etc. and orchestrate optimal customer journeys by segment and channel. The ideal leader for this role brings a strategic, creative, analytical and results-oriented growth mindset. Armed with a passion for finding unique and innovative ways to market products, acquire and engage members, you'll bring together an incredible team of marketers to create activities that drive the revenue, growth, and brand value. This includes identifying an optimal cross sell, offer hierarchy and rotation strategy. Product Marketing is the heartbeat of the company and the voice of the customer, you will keep the organization connected to our Member needs through research and analysis to ensure we continually innovate to serve our them best. This is a highly visible role that requires partnership with leadership across business lines, marketing, product, engineering, risk and finance. This is a great opportunity for a marketing leader with demonstrated Product and Growth-marketing experience who is excited to build upon the current capabilities for one of the company’s most important growth vectors.What You'll DoBe the Voice of the MembersYou will build a deep understanding of the customer’s needs, market, the competitive landscape and how LendingClub’s offerings and experience can best deliver those needs in a compelling and differentiated way Working with our brand team, develop and optimize Membership value proposition and build integrated go-to-market strategy across channels and segments Iterate on ideal product offering, positioning, and proof points through ongoing research and analysis Lead Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and execute marketing strategies that drive - enrollment DebtIQ credit monitoring product, engagement in online and mobile banking like app downloads and x-selling of various qualified products across lending and bankingDevelop annual strategy and quarterly roadmaps for engagement (App downloads, MAU, products per member, loan/deposit growth per member) to deliver against growth and engagement KPIs within defined budgets Work with marketing channel owners and business owners to define cross-sell opportunitiesIn conjunction with marketing ops develop detailed go to market delivery schedules and ensure flawless execution Champion opportunities to innovate for our members through increased focus on integrated marketing and greater personalization Improve the end-to-end customer experience including funnel optimization, new feature development, and customer engagement in partnership with the product team. Ensure alignment around product prioritization and product launches to drive highest value and engagement for members Produce content that connects with Members, promoting LendingClub’s products, services, and membership benefits Have a strong analytical mindset, be comfortable directing analyses, interpreting and summarizing data, and drawing actionable insights from it InnovationWork with business, product and marketing teams to develop enhanced membership offerings Demonstrated experience in synthesizing and translating marketing needs into product requirements Partner with head of Product Management to develop compelling product vision/direction to support experiences that reward and recognize members LeadershipLead cross-functional teams through a rapid growth and change cycle Comfortable setting clear goals to ensure success across product lines, segments and channels Create a solid engagement model that drives collaboration across teams to ensure flawless delivery and goal achievement through an aligned measurement frameworkAbout You10+ years of relevant marketing management experience including research, positioning, messaging, and product launches in a B2C environment. Financial services experience a plus8+ years of experience in big product/performance marketing, cross-sell and lifecycle marketing experiencePassionate for driving growth through innovative product management and GTM strategies, and for solving complex problemsExperience driving app download and engagement strategiesDemonstrated data-driven decision-making used to drive adoption and inform positioning and go to market strategyDemonstrated ability in driving engagement and repeat business from existing customer baseAbility to think strategically and translate strategy into actionable plans/tactics across a cross-functional matrix organizationExceptional leader with ability to prioritize competing demands, opinions and maximize team performanceA compelling storyteller with a strategic and analytical mindset; you have deep experience engaging and educating a senior executive audienceHave excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skillsAn ability to sell ideas well through creative and innovative presentationsBring extraordinary social skills; ability to build positive relationships with cross-functional team members and lead through influenceA high-energy and willing attitude—you love to jump in and help wherever you canBachelor's degree required, MBA is a plusWork LocationSan Francisco We are currently working a hybrid schedule and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Time Zone Requirements Primarily PTTravel Requirements If you need to travel for work, LendingClub will cover your travel related expenses. CompensationThe target base salary range for this position is 157,000-180,000. The position is also eligible to receive a bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings), equity, and benefits.
