Wapiti Medical Staffing is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician in Canby, Minnesota. (Locum) POSITION/FACILITY DETAILS * Type: Locum * Position: MD/DO * Role: Hospital + ED + Saturday AM Clinic * Annual volume): IP Average is 4-6. ED Annual Volume is 1200 * Any second coverage: No 2nd coverage/do have telehealth. Local providers are willing to come in to assist with trauma/disaster cases if they are around. * Shift options: Some weekends Fri 5p Mon 8a, most weekends extend longer/some weekday shifts as well; really a variety available * EMR: EPIC * Trauma level: * Candidate Requirements: * State License(s) accepted: MN License * DEA/CSR required?: Yes * Covid/Flu Vaccination Requirements: Required, exemptions available * BC/BE : BC * What boards are accepted? FM or IM with peds for ED component * c. Residents No * Life Certifications needed: BLS, ATLS, AHA (american heart association) ACLS (will not accept any other ACLS, it has to the be AHA) * Will facility accept CALS in lieu of ATLS: Yes * Procedures logs needed or past amount of experience required and in what timeframe: 12-24 months * Other qualifications needed: experience required
