Description

My client is seeking an experienced Superintendent with 5+ years of experience managing projects in occupied healthcare environments. As the Superintendent, you will oversee on-site project activities, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of active spaces while ensuring timely project delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day field operations, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, especially in sensitive, occupied healthcare settings.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Proactively identify and address challenges, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets project specifications and client expectations.
  • Uphold strict adherence to infection control protocols and minimize disruptions in occupied spaces.

Profile

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing field operations in occupied healthcare environments. Additional experience in government or commercial interiors is a plus.
  • Leadership: A hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative, small-team environment and leads by example.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring safety, quality, and precision in every aspect of a project.
  • Problem-Solver: Quick thinker who can adapt to unexpected changes and resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and maintain positive client relationships.
