About the Facility - St. Cloud VA Health Care System Caring for approximately 37,000 Veterans each year, the VA St. Cloud Healthcare System has an active research program. They conduct research to Client knowledge, develop VA scientists and health care leaders, and create innovations that advance health care for Veterans and the nation. They offer Veterans the opportunity to participate in and benefit from their work, with their goal to use research to promote better health and health care for all. Major research areas include Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Nursing, and Polytrauma Systems of Care. The St. Cloud VA Medical Center is one of 30 VA hospitals from World Ward I that is still in active service. Facility Address: 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303 RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to) Provider shall see patients for general medicine problems including performing the history and physical exam, making electronic progress notes, scheduling return visits, writing orders for lab and x-ray, prescribing medications, etc. Functioning as a primary care provider, the provider shall request as indicated, consultations from specialists and subspecialists. Provider shall participate in quality management activities that pertain to his/her duties. In addition to the above clinical responsibilities, provider shall hold routine administrative duties. Shall participate in clinical conferences for staff and shall attend medical staff and service-level meetings. Services shall be performed in accordance with VA policies and procedures and the regulations of the medical staff bylaws. Provider shall enter all medical documentation in the Computerized Patient Records Systems (CPRS) and electronically sign all. Enter orders and prescriptions electronically using CPRS, as appropriate. REQUIREMENTS Must have a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. Must have board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. Must have ACLS and BLS certification.
