Office Assistant

Description of the Role:

The Office Assistant at RK Auto will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and multitasking skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Applicant with work with our Inventory Control Supervisor to process all forms of automotive parts orders.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or individual.
• Perform data entry, documentation, and filing tasks.
• Assist with managing and organizing the office space.
• Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and other correspondences.
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as issuing invoices.
• Work with vendors to reconcile credits
• Train to be a competent back up to Office Supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
