Job Title: Cardiothoracic Surgeon Location: Lima, OH Shift Type: 24-Hour On-Call Shift Coverage: 24/7 coverage shared with full-time and PRN provider Call Requirements: 10-14 days of call coverage per month Weekend Requirements: Yes Job Description: * Position Overview: Seeking locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide coverage. * Practice Setting: * Clinic inside the hospital * Hospital rounding, call, and call back * Patient Demographics: Adult patients only * Average Number of Cases per Day: 1-2 * Trauma Level/Designation: Level 2 * Operating Rooms: 12 ORs, including a hybrid room * EMR System: EPIC * Ancillary Staff: 4 Physician Assistants (PAs) Scope of Services: * Required Procedures: * Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) * Redo Coronary Revascularization (with or without heart valve surgery) * Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery Credentialing: * Estimated Timeframe: 60-90 days * State License: Ohio * Required Certifications: * Board Certified * Fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery * ACLS and BLS
