Position Description
Job Title: Regional Director of Accounting
Reports to: Corporate VP Accounting
Position Summary
The Regional Director of Accounting will have overall responsibility for managing accounting and partner relationships within the Southeast Region of the Crete United platform. Will work closely with existing accounting teams within the platform as well as the MIS Team to onboard new partners, identify and address GAAP compliance issues, standardize accounting processes, review monthly financial statements and prepare Regional consolidated financial statements. Will work closely with the Corporate VP of Accounting to ensure timely integration efforts related to treasury, ERP, compliance, and annual audit/tax requirements for region.

Will work closely with the Corporate VP of Accounting to ensure timely integration efforts related to treasury, ERP, compliance, and annual audit/tax requirements for region.
Key Deliverables
- Lead and support all Southeast Region partner onboarding and integration efforts working closely to track progress and measure results
- Manage month end close process for regional partners, frequent onsite visits to improve efficiency and standardize processes, provide support as needed to ensure reporting deadlines are met, and partners are audit ready by year end, develop robust procedures, and SOP's to serve as guidelines and training materials for regional accounting teams
- Prepare regional financial reporting including balance sheet, summary income statement and cash flow
Position Responsibilities
- Lead and direct partner accounting teams within the Region as needed
- Assist with partner month end close to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Review of partner financial statements to identify potential accounting issues
- Lead onboarding and integration activities for platform partners, resolve issues, etc.
- Develop scalable processes to facilitate efficient month end close, quarterly reviews, and onboarding initiatives (using Monday.com)
- Ensure collaboration between Regional team, Executive Leaders and the ERP Intengration and MIS team
- Provide training and support as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 10-12 years of experience, active CPA
- 20-25% travel within region
- Full cycle accounting, strong knowledge of GAAP
- Strong project management, process improvement
- Strong systems knowledge
- Ability to coach, develop and lead teams
- Ability to thrive in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Works independently and is a proactive problem solver
- Excellent interpersonal skills,
- Ability to interface at various levels within the organization
- Strong time management
- Excellent organization skills
Preferred
- Public accounting experience (strongly preferred)
- Master's degree in accounting
- ERP System Implementation experience
- Experience with Construction/Contractor accounting
- Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum
