Rohde & Schwarz USA is seeking a growth-oriented Account Manager to serve a strategic portfolio of digitally-focused clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Test & Measurement Account Manager, you will work alongside a customer-centered team focused on engaging partnerships, driving sales and cultivating new business opportunities. We are looking for an experienced sales professional with deep knowledge of digital and high-speed data test applications, and eager to find new opportunities. Key product and application areas that support our clients' success include network analyzers, mixed signal, phase noise and jitter analysis, de-embedding measurements, high-speed cable compliance and automation, general oscilloscope applications, and power and signal integrity solutions.

The total compensation for this position is $170K-$240K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.

Your tasks
- First and foremost, the successful candidate for this position will generate new business opportunities through strategic sales initiatives, active prospecting, and finely-honed customer engagement strategies
- Ongoing maintenance of thorough account plans and sustainable sales funnels for multiple strategic customers is required
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements and strategically position Rohde & Schwarz solutions to effectively address the needs of clients within digital, power, electrical, and RF engineering fields
- Manage customer opportunities and projects to ensure an organized and successful closure by collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders
- This role requires in-field customer engagement where a candidate will be expected to visit customers within the Bay Area, help transport equipment as needed, and utilize a company vehicle
- Continuously learning to stay updated on evolving customer needs, shifting technical standards, and the competitive landscape, including competitors' products, strategies, and areas for improvement

Your qualifications
- BSEE or equivalent technology/engineering education. Candidates without an engineering degree will not be considered.
- 7+ years of test equipment sales experience or technical sales experience is ideal
- Knowledge of digital, signal integrity, power design, and RF test industries and technologies
- Familiarity with high-speed cable and data standards: IEEE 802.3, PCIe, DDR, USB and HDMI
- Experience with managing an in-field sales process for complex and highly technical accounts
- Be curious, responsive, and eager to fix problems by utilizing a broad team
- Have a passion for achieving sales results, an intense focus on customer service, and continuously looking to grow business
- Ability to work successfully and eagerly within a team environment with active communication and collaboration skills
- Enthusiastic and responsive to customer requests and questions
- Candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and have valid US work authorization.
