JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Dir, Engagement Analytics manages a high-performing team who deliver successful engagement analytics projects. The Associate Director of Engagement Analytics evangelizes the value of Engagement Analytics with their clients and to other agency teams.
They will be responsible for developing and implementing data strategies, driving successful analytics projects, and providing insights to optimize our client engagement initiatives. The Associate Dir, Engagement Analytics will have a strong background in marketing and advertising, data analytics, and a proven track record of delivering results. They should embody an EDI Mindset, striving for conscious inclusivity internally and externally, while applying the inQ framework in the strategic development process.
They have experience collaborating with all internal team members (engagement strategy, brand planning, account, media, analytics, creative and project management) and are comfortable presenting to senior clients. They will have a strong background in healthcare marketing and advertising, data analytics, and leadership, as well as a proven track record of driving results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Strategy Development and Implementation
Responsible for developing and implementing data informed engagement strategies that align with the agency's goals and objectives. This includes identifying target audiences, analyzing market trends, and recommending strategies that will drive engagement.
Data Analysis and Insights
Lead a team to successfully analyze data from various sources, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and email marketing, to provide insights that can be used to optimize engagement strategies.
Team Leadership and Management
Manage engagement analysts, including training, and development, to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job functions effectively.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, provide insights, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement
Continuously evaluate and improve engagement strategies, processes, and methodologies to stay ahead of the competition and ensure ongoing success for the agency and its clients.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops collaborative relationships with engagement strategists, strategic planning and account services leads; creates and presents a variety of Engagement Analytics deliverables directly to clients, answering questions and incorporating feedback.
- Mentors the junior team members in the development and QA of their work translating data (from multiple sources) into insights that fuel decision making.
- Communicates with internal network data, analytics, technology and media partners to ensure strong working relationship.
- Builds junior staff's understanding of the various levers that move a brand and how the engagement analytics can help support and accomplish brand goals.
- Manages the creation of plans that are flexible and change over time, responding to market needs, brand lifecycle, and competitive changes.
- Continues to acquire knowledge about the value of engagement analytics and can consistently make actionable recommendations on accounts that will move a brand forward.
- Adjusts expertise to fill in the analytics gaps of multiple accounts and develops EA deliverables across all stages of the journey.
- Works closely will all stakeholders at the agency and regularly presents ideas to clients.
- Can be a day-to-day lead on one or more accounts with limited supervision by a senior team member.
- Works closely will all stakeholders at the agency and regularly presents ideas to clients.
- Supports a senior team member on new business pitches and present with them when appropriate (not usually pitching alone).
- Mentors' junior-level engagement analysts (not usually directly managing yet).

• Analytic, qualitative, and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Experience with digital media, web, marketing data and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe,
Salesforce).
• Understanding of targeting and segmentation, marketing analytics tools, advanced skill in Excel. Experience
creating data visualization with tools such as Tableau.
• Experience using syndicated research sources/tools (Gfk MRI-Simmons, IMS, Nielsen, comScore, Pathmatics,
Brandwatch, Resonate, Google Trends, SimilarWeb).
• Web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).

$120,000 to $160,000 annually
