JOB SUMMARY
The Social Media Director, VP ((VPSMD) must be an expert in major consumer social media platforms. The VPSMD is responsible for building and growing a high-performing team, with a culture that focuses on collaboration and inclusion. They are also responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of various social media accounts, ensuring clients' social media strategies are implemented successfully, including community management, social listening, and competitive analysis efforts. The VPSMD will advise on social media best practices, case studies, and key learnings. The VPSMD mentors junior-level team members, and provides support to the SVP of Social Media and the overall social media team. The VPSMD will lead strategic efforts such as facilitating Get Social Workshops for clients and managing inter-team relationships. They should embody an EDI mindset, striving for conscious inclusion internally and externally, while applying the inQ framework in the strategic development process.

SALARY
$160,000 to $230,000 annually
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting. - Leads social media listening and reporting efforts to uncover conversation topics, trends, and insights.
- Leads competitive audit and provides analysis on the output.
- Leads community management and monitoring efforts and provide insights on key learnings.
- Expert in social media landscape, social media platforms, and current trends.
- Leads the social conversation to ensure integration into the engagement strategy team and continuity of brand story across channels.
- Leads social media content development and ensures content adheres to social media best practices, brand guidelines and agency learnings.
- Leads complex projects and work with internal and external cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment; Manage and report on the work, progress, and happenings of the social media team.
- Leads social media analytics reports.
- Leads internal and client workshops pertaining to social media and social strategy development.
- Manages new business pitch request and delegates to appropriate team members.
- Leads client relationship and interacts with the client on a regular or as-needed basis to keep them informed on their brand's social media presence and relevant current events that might impact the business.
- Leads the department and FCBH's social media POV in client presentations, meetings, on the phone, and via email.
- Leads requests for agency and client social media education, capabilities presentation, and strategic planning process.
- Supervises junior team members and provides regular feedback as needed.
- Provides training and guidance to junior team members for achieving specific development goals.
- Develops protocols and agency standards in social media planning and management.
- Reviews and manages junior team members' annual performance reviews.
- Establishes a professional and inclusive culture of mutual respect and high expectations. Leads, influences, and guides internal and external teams on social media planning process.
- Manages over a dozen clients and a team of social strategists, skillfully matching task to talent and always looking for new opportunities for individual team members to grow.
- Collaborates with Finance department on SOWs, hiring needs, and other related topics.
- Creates a daily working environment that fosters teamwork, collaboration, learning, and inclusivity.
