Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Location: Woodland, CA Profession: Physician Specialty: Family Medicine Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months to 1 year Shift Type: Full-time (8:00 AM 5:00 PM) Weekend Requirements: Yes On Call Requirements: None Key Responsibilities: * Primary Care Physician duties, serving as an interim provider for Family Medicine patients. * Provide care for both acute visits and chronic care management for adult patients . * Routine FM clinical procedures based on the physician s skill set. * Collaborate in a team-based environment with other physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and support staff (Medical Assistants, LVNs, and RNs). * EMR system: Cerner Caseload: * Patients per day: 16-20 * Facility support: Assigned Medical Assistant (MA) for patient rooming; LVN and RN staff available for additional support. Additional Information: * The clinic is part of a large Family Medicine practice with 11 physicians and 9 APPs . * Setting: 100% outpatient care, no inpatient duties. Requirements: * Active California medical license Required * Board Certification in Family Medicine (Internal Medicine BC also accepted) Required * Clean malpractice history * Provider must be comfortable prescribing controlled medications and providing care to LGBTQ+ patients and pro-choice patients, including referrals to appropriate facilities for services. * Comfortable providing care to underserved populations or Medicaid patients (18% of payer mix). Credentialing: * Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
