Interventional Radiology Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Roseville, CA Job Details: We are currently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens position near Roseville, CA. This opportunity offers a chance to provide critical services in a General Acute Care Hospital that is stroke-certified but not a trauma-designated facility. The position is available ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis, offering stability and flexibility for qualified candidates. Key Details: * Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing * Shift Type: Day shifts with night call after 4:30 PM * Shift Hours: * Day: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM * Night Call: Begins after 4:30 PM * Weekend Requirements: Yes * On Call Requirements: Yes * Practice Setting: General Acute Care Hospital * Support Staff: * Radiology Nurses and Technicians * Large Radiology group for overflow and after-hours reads * Duties Include: * Hospital coverage, including Interventional Radiology (IR) needs and stroke CTs * IR Procedures: Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest tubes, Suprapubic catheters * CT/US-guided biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, etc.) * Barium studies and lumbar punctures * Patients Per Day: Varies based on hospital needs Certification Requirements: * Board Certification/Eligibility: Required in Radiology * Required Certifications: * ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) * BLS (Basic Life Support) * DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration registration) * Licensure: Active California medical license required Preferred Experience: * Procedural Skills: Expertise in Interventional Radiology procedures, including stroke CTs and other emergency department and ICU imaging studies * EMR System: Experience with Cerner preferred This locum tenens position is perfect for an experienced Interventional Radiologist who is looking for a role in a hospital setting with both scheduled day shifts and on-call responsibilities.
