Litigation Associate Attorney -Employment Law- Full-Time
Location: San Jose, CA, 95113
What You Will Be Doing:
- Preparing responsive pleadings and engaging in motion practice.
- Responding to discovery or administrative charges.
- Counseling clients on employment law matters and other legal areas.
- Managing cases from inception to trial, including case management, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Handling compliance matters such as wage laws, leave policies, and ADA/FMLA compliance.
- Developing policies, conducting compliance training, and managing pre-litigation disputes.
Experience You Will Need:
- 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law.
- Strong background in preparing pleadings, motion practice, and responding to discovery.
- Familiarity with wage laws, FMLA, ADA, and other employment compliance matters preferred.
- Experience with case management and trial preparation.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and writing skills.
- Strong academic background with a proven track record of performance.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a community-focused and well-established firm environment.
