Faculty Psychologist at Duke, Focused on Children & Adolescents

The Division of Child and Family Mental Health and Community Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences invites applications for a full-time faculty psychologist. The psychologist will:

  • provide psychological evaluation and short-term treatment for children and adolescents.
  • work with a growing team focused on enhancing access to a range of services provided to children and families.
  • will be responsible for direct clinical care and teaching and mentoring psychology externs and interns, postdoctoral fellows, medical students, general psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows.
  • have a faculty appointment with rank commensurate with the applicants experience.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or related field from an APA-accredited doctoral program.
  • Applicants must be licensed to practice in NC (or be license eligible).
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a solid foundation in general clinical skills in evaluating children with a range of complex medical conditions, including but not limited to Concussion/TBI, Hem-Onc, Bone Marrow transplant, and Seizure Disorders.
  • Ideal candidates have specific experience in neuropsychological testing and evaluating patients for epilepsy surgery including cortical mapping
