Maintenance Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our manufacturing facilities in Canonsburg, PA and Scenery Hill, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery, equipment, and systems, minimizing downtime, and leading a team of maintenance technicians. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our plant. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Supervise, mentor, and manage the maintenance team, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance evaluation. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime and extend equipment life. Maintenance Operations: Oversee the repair, installation, and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and building systems. Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and collaborate with other departments to resolve production bottlenecks. Ensure spare parts inventory is maintained and that orders are placed in a timely manner. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. In cooperation with the Safety Manager, conduct regular safety audits and provide training to ensure that all maintenance work is performed safely and efficiently. Budgeting & Reporting: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including tracking expenses, forecasting future costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and safety inspections. Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance procedures. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the maintenance department. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in managing a team of technicians and working with complex machinery. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) software.
