We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resource Manager to join our team in Beamsville, ON.
The HR Manager will oversee all human resources functions, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with Ontario and Canadian employment laws and regulations. The role involves managing employee relations, recruitment, training and development, performance management, and workplace health and safety. The HR Manager will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team and foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Oversee new employee orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and disputes, providing guidance on HR policies.
- Implement and enforce company policies in line with Ontario employment standards.
- Conduct investigations related to employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace disputes.
Performance Management
- Manage the company's performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback.
- Partner with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for employee development and create career progression plans.
Compliance & Legal
- Ensure compliance with Ontario's Employment Standards Act (ESA), Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), and other relevant legislation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure data privacy.
- Conduct audits and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to improve employee competencies.
- Promote continuous learning and career development through coaching, workshops, and external programs.
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
- Manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including health plans, pensions, and other rewards.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive salary packages in alignment with industry standards.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
Health & Safety
- Lead workplace safety initiatives and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Manage the company's health and wellness programs.
Strategic HR Planning
- Partner with the leadership team to develop local HR strategies that align with the organization's business objectives.
- Provide insights into workforce trends, succession planning, and employee retention strategies.
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of the company by providing HR guidance on organizational development.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- CHRP or CHRL designation is an asset.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Thorough knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
