Job Title: Assembler Job Description The Assembler will perform manual labor in a production line, assembling parts for satellite systems. Responsibilities Works as part of a production team to assemble parts. Sorts and places material or items on tables, racks, or bins. Assembles satellite sub-assembly parts manually. Uses various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment. Cleans assembled parts and places them in protective bags or boxes. Packs, seals, and moves boxes. Picks up, moves, and sorts small parts. Uses small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Essential Skills Experience with assembly, blueprint reading, and wiring. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with sheet metal. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. US, Permanent Resident Card Holder, or Non-Citizen allowed to work for any employer. Associates degree or certificate in a technical area. Assembly or manufacturing experience. High aptitude to work with small electronic components, including soldering of small electrical components or mechanical equipment. Experience in the space or aeronautical field. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is in a clean room environment, requiring the wearing of smocks, hair nets, beard nets, and shoe covers. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midland, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
