As an Internal Medicine Physician at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of adult health issues. You will utilize your expertise to provide patient-centered care, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and support patients in managing chronic conditions and acute illnesses.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed patient evaluations, including comprehensive history and physical examinations, to diagnose and manage health conditions.
- Create tailored treatment plans to address the individual needs of patients, incorporating lifestyle modifications, medications, and preventative care strategies.
- Manage chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, ensuring continuity of care and regular follow-up.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote long-term wellbeing.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the medical staff's continuous education and shared learning.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in internal medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.
- Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
