The Corporate Paralegal at Girrah Group will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team with a variety of corporate governance matters. Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing corporate documents such as board minutes, resolutions, and corporate filings.
- Conducting research and due diligence for corporate transactions and compliance matters.
- Maintaining corporate records, including minute books and entity formation documents.
- Assisting in the preparation of contracts and agreements, ensuring all documents comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Supporting mergers and acquisitions by coordinating the collection of documents and information from relevant stakeholders.
- Liaising with external legal counsel and regulatory agencies as necessary.
- Performing other legal and administrative tasks as assigned to support the team's needs.
Requirements
- Strong background in corporate law, with experience supporting legal teams on governance and transactional matters.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with excellent drafting and research abilities.
- Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
