The Corporate Paralegal at Girrah Group will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team with a variety of corporate governance matters. Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing corporate documents such as board minutes, resolutions, and corporate filings.
  • Conducting research and due diligence for corporate transactions and compliance matters.
  • Maintaining corporate records, including minute books and entity formation documents.
  • Assisting in the preparation of contracts and agreements, ensuring all documents comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Supporting mergers and acquisitions by coordinating the collection of documents and information from relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaising with external legal counsel and regulatory agencies as necessary.
  • Performing other legal and administrative tasks as assigned to support the team's needs.

Requirements

  • Strong background in corporate law, with experience supporting legal teams on governance and transactional matters.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent drafting and research abilities.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and external partners.
