The University of Missouri’s School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, is expanding, and searching for a Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our growing radiology practice. This is an excellent career opportunity for candidates just starting their careers, as well as experienced candidates to join a thriving academic radiology department. We are excited to share that we will consider Alternate Pathway candidates interested in specializing in Chest Imaging!

Our Clinical Model 

Faculty in our Cardiothoracic Division have responsibilities in cardiopulmonary radiology, including conventional radiographs with a full complement of advanced imaging, including CT and MRI.. Our Cardiothoracic radiologists enjoy very collaborative relationships with referring providers and participate in multidisciplinary conferences. 

• Join a department of 30+ radiologists – Meet our Team 
• Responsibilities are:  
  • Expected mix of teaching to clinical work:  
    • ~80% Clinical 
    • ~10% Teaching/Education 
    • ~10% Administration
  • Teaching 
    • ~75% of the time spent overreading residents & fellows  
• Expected schedule:
  • Onsite, Remote, Hybrid Remote, or Part-Time opportunities available
  • Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM 
  • ½ - 1 day per week for administrative time 
• Expected call schedule 
  • ~Every 6 weeks 
    • McKesson PACS, PowerscribeOne for Dictation
      • Cerner EMR  
• Equipment 
  • Siemens: Mix of 1.5 and 3T MRI scanners 
• Compensation Structure
  • Base salary + Incentive
