Ohly has a great opportunity for a Technical & Indirect Procurement Manager to join our team in Boyceville Wisconsin USA.

The Technical & Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible to lead and facilitate sourcing initiatives from strategy creation through to implementation by delivery of agreed targets and indirects, lead procurement role in CAPEX projects to include tender process and negotiation of CAPEX contracts, and handle administrative procurement activities regarding all indirect spending. Duties as described below.

In this exciting role you will:
  • Manage and execute sourcing of the specific categories for Plants (Process Equipment, Warehousing, Laboratory, Construction, MRO, Services) to reduce the total cost of goods & services while increasing overall value.
  • Proactively develop and drive sourcing initiatives, including all key steps in full life cycle sourcing.
  • Execute supplier management strategies by monitoring KPIs, Terms and Conditions, and Supplier Contracts.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships to optimize business value.
  • Interact with supply base and internal "customers" to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
  • Provide procurement support to all functional areas, ensuring procurement representation and participation in all issues related to meeting business requirements.
  • Develop necessary strategies and projects plans, driving to completion (i.e. commodity & supplier strategies, projects....as applicable).
  • Manage and enhance supplier performance through standardized processes and continuous improvement efforts impacting quality, cost, delivery and service.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to capture cost reduction while maximizing quality, speed and scalability for all Indirect purchases.
  • Consolidate spend across the company/ABF to capture buying power with key suppliers who are motivated by our growth and thrive for innovation.
  • Analyze spend to develop cost reduction roadmaps and strategies.
  • Earn trust with key partner teams to collaborate on requirements gathering, while leading RFP creation, response review, and supplier selection processes.
  • Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality while working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across the business to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities.
  • Ensure all indirect suppliers and contractors are aware of all ABF/Ohly policies (HSE, ABC, CSR etc.) and procedures and sign up to ABF code of conduct.
  • Ensure Source to pay process is followed.

Admin Support
  • Prepares procurement documents
  • Administrates and hands orders, deliveries and invoice documents
  • Administrates and hands supplier claims -indirects
  • Takes care of ERP core data-material and supplier data
  • Conduct both operative and administrative procurement tasks
  • Communicates with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepares and places inquiries and orders with approved suppliers

You should have:
  • Bachelor's Degree as minimum request
  • 2-3 year procurement experience
