WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking a senior level integrated producer to join our team. This individual would work in our creative department specifically within the Integrated Production team. This job is best suited for an individual who in experienced leading the development of large integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
Responsibilities
The Senior Integrated Producer is responsible for the overall workflow, project management and production of assigned marketing and communications materials across a wide range of platforms and distribution channels. They are a diplomat and translator - straddling between creative, internal teams and external vendors to deliver client service excellence. They have a strong understanding of and commitment to delivering high quality, strategy-driven creative work.
The Senior Integrated Producer has a deep technical knowledge that guides clients and teams to the right expertise and solutions for their creative projects. They are steeped in digital and content development in all forms and must thoroughly understand how creative content is developed and distributed to be a strong technical advisor.
They have a thorough understanding of creative and campaign development and a dedication to project management principles to ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget. They identify and engage the appropriate resources and expertise needed to successfully execute each project, ensuring that needs, level of effort and timing are clearly communicated and documented. They provide support throughout the process to ensure that deliverables are complete, accurate, delivered and align with the needs of the project.
Project Management
• Collaborate with creative and others to find the best solutions to clients' creative needs.
• Serve as the lead point of contact on assigned projects and promptly respond to requests for information on project status and details.
• Anticipate and mitigate obstacles to ensure projects stay on track.
• Create, manage and monitor Team's channels and ensure project files are centralized, organized and easily available to teams for use or reference.
• Produce project documentation and artifacts using approved templates when available.
• Develop and/or coordinate development of materials for presentations to internal teams and clients.
• Develop agendas and capture meeting notes as necessary.
Budgeting and Scheduling
• Seek clarity on requests to thoroughly understand creative needs, clearly define, document and communicate scope and approach each project with a clear understanding of objectives and audience.
• Develop, maintain and drive project schedules, proactively moving work forward through clear, proactive communication.
• Develop, document and track project estimates for labor and out of pocket expenses for a wide range of deliverables.
Resource Management
• Collaborate with creative team leaders and Traffic Manager to assign work and ensure assignments are correct and updated in Workamajig.
• Collaborate with creative team leaders, Traffic Manager and other Creative Producers to prioritize work and adjust plans if needed.
Production and Vendor Management
• Identify and manage appropriate external vendors including freelance creative talent, web developers, video production, printers and others.
• Provide quality assurance for all projects including proof reading, review against client brand guidelines and adherence to overall objectives and strategy.
• Serve as technical advisor on asset production and ensure projects are developed to meet production specifications ranging from printers, event materials, video production and web development.
Process Enforcement and Improvements
• Contribute to the development of systems to ensure efficient and effective workflow, agency business management and ultimately increased creative quality.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business and internal processes that may impact or improve work product.
• Adhere to established process and documentation to provide a consistent, professional experience for teams when engaging the creative production team.
• Protect the business interests of the agency as they pertain to creative work - vendor management, usage and rights, releases, privacy and seek council when needed.
Leadership
• Senior-level role, working closely with Head of Integrated Production, focusing on production and project management leadership and execution.
• Lead and mentor Integrated Producers and Production staff.
Qualifications
• 6+ years of creative project management at an agency or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of and commitment to delivering high quality, strategy-driven creative work.
• Experience managing creative teams and vendor relationships.
• Ability to develop, communicate and maintain systems that increase efficiency and provide growth opportunities for the agency.
• Demonstrated strong communications and problem-solving skills.
• Strong digital content, video and broadcast, print (collateral + advertising) and event/tradeshow project management experience; web and app development experience desired.
• Exacting attention to detail.
• Ability to estimate and maintain accurate schedules and budgets.
• Experience identifying, contracting and managing all types of creative resources and vendors from freelancers to content developers to printers.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and uses and mechanics of creative softwares.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office application.
• Knowledge of project management principles, processes and software.
• A solid understanding of the lifecycle of web development initiatives.
• Experience developing quality assurance plans and managing QA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
