Overview
As our Sr. HR Business Partner at CHI St Vincent, you will help apply your broad range of talent and skills providing strategic HR guidance to HR leaders, staff and leaders of the hospital. In this role, you will provide strategic HR guidance responsible for developing and implementing, and enhancing HR initiatives that align with organizational goals to improve the employee work environment.

CHI St Vincent Infirmary is a 600 bed faith-based, non-profit, acute care facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. Our level II trauma center is a regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, behavioral health, cancer care, neurosciences, and other specialties. Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor Degree in HR or related field required. ( With relevant experience; equivalent education and/or experience; experience through certifications)
Preferred Education and Experience
MBA, or related Masters Degree
Preferred Licensure and Certifications
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training
Minimum of three (5) years of experience in HR or leadership.
HR experience should encompass HR Generalist experience or at least 3 years or more areas of speciality, e.g., compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, talent acquisition, etc.

Responsibilities
- Provide HR partnership, for business initiatives, day to day HR support and execution of strategies for assigned leaders. Conducts meetings with respective leaders as needed (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.)
- Consults with department management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, benefits, and learning and development.
- Maintains in depth knowledge of compliance requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
