How to Make the Team
We are now hiring a Manager, Partnership Management. If you are experienced in corporate partnership marketing, have a love of sports and entertainment and a commitment to building exceptional client relations, we want to learn more about you.
Your focus on customer service will be the key to manage and maintain numerous corporate relationships. In this role, you will handle day-to-day management of select accounts with varying degrees of complexity. You will be expected to provide service and support of our partners' contractual elements, through all relevant activation channels and for all assigned properties. Building strong client relationships through delivery of excellent service is a must, and revenue growth through renewals and upsells is also key to being successful in this position.
This role reports to the Director, Partnership Management and will support partnership relationships for both the team and the arena. You must be able to multi-task in a high-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and a disciplined attention to details are a necessity.

Show Us You Can
- Assist in the planning and execution of partners' contractual elements, including, but not limited to, traditional media assets, promotions, in-arena activation, hospitality, experiential, and community programs.
- Develop and deliver effective and measurable partnership platforms for all partners by managing expectations, communicating timelines, and ensuring contractual asset fulfillment.
- Use a variety of methods and resources to creatively engage and enhance partner relationships, while implementing industry knowledge and brand awareness to overcome challenges, create business opportunities, and exceed company objectives
- Work closely with internal departments (legal, finance, etc.) on partner needs
- Gather and assist in the analysis of customer data to create new revenue opportunities
- Assist junior staff's development and project execution
- Support in-suite and onsite hospitality initiatives during all UBS Arena events
Your Training & Talent
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in sports and entertainment marketing, partnership marketing and/or account management
- Previous experience in the sports and entertainment industry a plus
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task and collaborate
- Willingness to work flexible hours (e.g., nights and weekends around events)
- Ability to think creatively and strategically on behalf of the organization and our clients
- Highly organized with extraordinary attention to detail
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Familiarity with CRM system capabilities and benefits
- Exceptional account management and customer service skills
- Curious to learn and build upon already existing skill set
- Motivated, self-starter with a no-task-too-small attitude
- Strong written, verbal, communication skills
Where You'll Go
- The New York Islanders have offices in Floral Park, NY, as well as Manhattan. You will be in the office 2-3 days per week.
- Attend home games and other events (events can fall on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays) when conditions permit
